The only thing better than a scenic spring 5K is one followed by a beer festival. NoDa Brewing Company’s 6th-annual NoDa 5K starts at 6 p.m. from the brewery, 2921 N. June 13 
Former Vice President Joe Biden is coming to Charlotte to share inspiring stories, impart words of wisdom, and discuss his journey in politics. This stop on the Vice President Joe Biden: American Promise Tour takes place at Belk Theater, 130 N. Tryon St. Tickets start at $25 and the event begins at 7 p.m. blumenthalarts.org

 

June 15-17
Don your cape and join fellow comic-book fans at the 36th-annual Heroes Convention. Featuring more than 600 artists and creators and over 200 comic book, toy, apparel, and collectible dealers, this event will be fun for kids and adults alike. June 16
You won’t be bored at this year’s Sol Fest. The U.S. National Whitewater Center is hosting a whole day of water and trail races, live music, yoga, beer sampling, and more. June 22
Hop in your DeLorean and get ready to travel through time at the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra’s Summer Pops: Back to the Future in Concert.
